This is my second SLJ blogging activity. The task was to create a 'Geometree' using straight lines and colouring markers. I found this task time consuming and probably would prefer not to do it again.

This is my first activity for the summer learning journey. I might be a little late but I'm trying my best to catch up :D 

This task is called poetry slam, which is basically gathering words and phrases to help us with out poetry in future tasks :)

Pigpen Cipher

 Hi Bloggers, 

This is my 3rd task for the summer learning journey. For this task we had to read and create our own ciphers. I dont very much enjoy going to beaches so I just used the beach I have been too most.

I found this task a bit difficult to compose a clue and figure out how to cipher worked

My next step would be to use a more difficult to find beach

I found this task easy as they straightfowardly displayed the amount of information on the slide for us to understand.

This is my first task for the Summer learning journey I've missed out on a ton of these activities but I will still get them all out :)

Our task was to learn about taneore and to create a Kowhaiwai pattern using google drawings. One fact I learnt about taneore was that taneore is the personification of shimmering air.

The kowhaiwhai i have created is a very simple design and I'm assuming its supposed to represent waves 

To create this I vertically flipped our starter image and then horizontally and repeatedly placed that image  

I found this task quite easy

My next step would be to create a more complex kowhaiwhai

My treasured items!

For this activity I have to list three different items that I treasure .
So here are a few of them.
P.S I will take a picture of the items too.
Number 1 . This cute little baby romper with a pink and white striped thermal undereath.This is item is important to me because it was the first outfit I have ever worn my mum put it on me after my first bath in hospital.

Number 2. I dont treasure many items so thats it .

My brothers dream job!

For this activity I have to make a poster or info graphic on what someones dream job is and you could probably tell from the title I have chosen my eldest brother.
So I am not lying but he told me he wanted to be a clown. So here are some things I could do to help him achieve his dream. 1. Let him practice his jokes with me. 2. Help him get the perfect costume. 3. Help him to learn to juggle . 4. Help him ride a unicycle (he already knows how to ride one). 5.choose the perfect wig for him. 6. Help him start some family performances.

SPCA report

Today I am gonna be talking about SPCA which is a charity for injured or abused animals.



SPCA is a charity for sick, injured and abused animals they take care of over 40,000 animals all over New Zealand. They help injured animals back to normal and they make sick animals healthy again they bring in abandoned animals and clean them all up. They prevent cruelty and educate , they rescue the poor animals and they rehabilitate the animals. They have an important role to play in the community but their mission would not be possible without our suport.

Where do I come from ?

For this activity I have to write an explanation of my family past and about where I come from.
So here I used a site called Family echo to make my own family tree.
I hope you enjoy reading this .

I am from Fiji well my family is I was born in New zealand but I technically still am Fijian. We are Fiji indians my mum was born in Nadi Fiji while my dad was born in Singatoka Fiji . Both my brothers were born in Lautoka Fiji while I was born in Auckland New Zealand . In 2010 before I was born my family migrated from Fiji to New zealand and then they got a house built in Mangere New zealand but while the house was being built they were staying with some relatives in Hilsbrough. My brothers went to Hilsbrough primary school for quite along time . A bit after the house was built I was born .,we lived in our Mangere house for a very long time just untill october 2018 when we moved up to Kawakawa and thats when I started here at Kawakawa primary School.
